Introduction to Federal Funding for Innovation
Join us for a presentation on federal programs for businesses seeking to advance research and bring their innovations to market. The focus will be on Small Business Administration (SBA) funding driven by the major research agencies such a NIH, DoD, and NSF. Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to compete for millions in late stage research dollars dedicated to help businesses bridge the dreaded funding “Valley of Death.” Many agencies also offer extensive support to innovators to enter and succeed in this funding stream. Funding is also available for collaboration with large research organizations like Mayo Clinic, designed to build the right large-scale scaffolds to help small companies leap into the market. Learn about the variety of funding options, how the non-dilutive granting process works, and the resources available at the Strategic Funding Office.

Note: **This event requires advance registration and is exclusively for Mayo Clinic employees and Innovation Exchange members.**
